Yana Belomoina to race under the CST PostNL Bafang MTB Racing Team banner at Tokyo 2021

CST PostNL Bafang MTB Racing Team are happy and proud to announce that Yana Belomoina (Ukrain) will ride her 9th year with under their banner in 2021. With the Olympic Games of Tokyo 2021 as their main goal, the team is excited to finalize their squad.

For Yana Tokyo 2021 will be her 3rd Olympic Games. She made her debut at the London 2012 Olympic Games were she finished 13th. At her second Olympic Games 4 years later in Rio de Janeiro she entered the top 10 and finished on 9th position.

“Working with Yana is a pleasure. Yana is a very professional athlete and very dedicated to her sport, her team, her goals. She knows exactly what she wants and what’s good for her, and she is not afraid to work hard to reach her goals.

We are working with Yana for already 8 years and it’s very interesting to see her development from starting as a young, very talented athlete to growing into a strong, high quality international ‘Olympic’ top athlete with lots of experience and capacity.

Especially because during these years, she has always been very loyal to herself.

Yana Belomoina (Ukraine, DOB November 2, 1992), number 17 in the current UCI Ranking :

“It is a pleasure to work with Bart and with the Team! Over the years we have had many beautiful moments, amazing results. As I look to my results…it’s the result the teamwork of our professional team: my teammates, the team managers, the soigneurs, the mechanics, the cook and of course the ‘soul’ of our team, our team director Bart Brentjens.

I always had good and solid support, which made I could focus on the results and it made dreams come true. I am happy to inform that we keep on working together to Tokyo 2021!”

The Tokyo Olympic Games will be held from July 23 till August 8, 2021

Olympic mountain bike is on the program at:

  • July 27 Men’s Cross Country
  • July 28 Women’s Cross Country
