Trek Bicycles have launched their very first concept bike store in Africa! Taking the name of Arch Cycles, the store opened its doors on the 1st of August 2019, and looks to serve Trek customers far into the future. The brand showcased their new concept store through their grand opening event that took place last week Thursday – 01 August 2019
The family-friendly store is located in Melrose Arch Johannesburg, one of South Africa’s premier shopping precincts. It will provide area residents with a full-service bike shop and access to a full line of leading bikes and cycling gear for men, women, and kids.
Arch Cycles also features a Bike Fit studio where riders can get properly setup on their new bikes and a fully trained staff of enthusiastic Arch Cycles employees who are excited to share their product knowledge and beautiful space with you.
Their workshops sports industry leading technology, tools and a team of skilled professionals that, collectively, has a wealth of experience repairing and servicing any type, brand or size bicycle on the market.
The store showcases two of the most sought-after bicycle brands in the world, Trek and Bontrager. The US-based bicycle company was founded in 1976 with a vision of bringing the joy and adventure of cycling to a broader audience.
Today, though Trek has grown far beyond its humble beginnings, the company has stayed true to its founding principles: we build only products we love, provide incredible hospitality to our customers, and change the world by getting more people on bikes.
In the coming weeks, Arch Cycles will host special opening sales and events, and all are encouraged to visit the new location at Melrose Arch, 34 Whiteley Road, Melrose North, Johannesburg, 2076. Arch Cycles is open Mon-Friday 9am – 6pm, Saturdays 9am -2 pm and Sundays and Public holidays 9am – 1pm
