KOBLENZ, 03 JULY 2019 — With the competition heating up in mountain bike racing series around the world – and Canyon fans all over the globe cheering their heroes on – it’s well worth looking at the current standings in both the Cross Country and Downhill World Cup as well as the Enduro World Series.
Scott Sharples, Canyon’s new Marketing & Brand Manager MTB: “Being conservative Germans [and me the lone Aussie] we don’t like to boast. In reality, we just like making really good bikes, and then going out for a ride on that amazing bike. [We may also drink a few beers and mildly exaggerate about how much ‘shredding’ was done.] But… We can’t help but be proud of our team of amazing riders, ranked number 1 in Men’s World Cup XCO, World Cup DHI, and the Enduro World Series. Cheers fellas! Mathieu on the Lux, Troy on the Sender, and Flo on the Strive – go ride your bike!”

The next round of UCI World Cup XCO and DHI from July 2-7 sees racers competing in Vallnord Pal Arinsal, Andorra, with the Canyon Factory Downhill team aiming to defend their lead, while Mathieu van der Poel takes a well-deserved break from cross-country racing. The Canyon Factory Enduro Racing team is already on their way to Les Orres, France, looking forward to racing the brand new venue for the first time.
