New Gear: BMC Trailfox AMP E-Bike

BMC hit the ball out of the park with their new Trailfox AMP E-Bike. A real stunner of an E-Bike, to amplify your ride experience and get you stoked for some next-level trail shredding. The Trailfox AMP produces smooth power to every one of your pedal strokes, and keeps you going further and further.

Highlights:

  1. E-Specific Geo Concept
Adjusted to the needs of an e-mountain biker, to provide the full all-mountain experience.650b+ Wheels and Tires
A confidence inspiring wheel-size to let you ride any line.

    3. Twin Hollow-core Tube Design
Hides the battery pack in the downtube while supporting a stiff front triangle.

    4. Shimano E-8000
A powerful drive unit made with mountain biking in mind. The Shimano E-8000 provides strong, yet sensitive support.

    5. Drive Unit Nest
Protects the drive unit from dirt and impact.

    6. Integrated Speed Sensor
Hidden in the rearstay and disc for a clean look and accurate speed measurement.

    7. E-Specific Advanced Pivot System (APS)
An efficient, durable suspension system with an e-MTB tune that blends your power with that of the bike.

    8. E-Specific Linkage System
Strong and oversized, for durability and a precise riding feel.

Designed to thrill!

BMC’s Twin Hollow-core carbon frame design, ensures proper performance and frame strength. Plus, it gives the bike that stylish, modern feel. Then there’s the Trail specific discipline for geometry, with a slacker head-angle, higher BB and shorter chainstay. This geometry configuration integrates well with E-Bike needs and gives the bike a neat all-mountain feel!

Focusing on integration, BMC’s Trailfox AMP motor, centres in a good construction around it. BMC also hid the speed sensor close to the lower part of the bike’s rear-triangle.

Overall, the Trailfox AMP qualifies as an E-Specific bike at the highest level, even with mentioning the oversized lower link and one-piece rear-triangle. BMC scores high with this one, in my books!
