Bontrager has released a revamp of its popular Triple X Road Shoe today. The new version is the top-shelf choice in Bontrager’s shoe offering, and it delivers the best in performance, fit and style to road racers the world over.
The updated design of the Triple X Road Shoe was informed by feedback from Trek-Segafredo pros and features a new construction, new materials and a more refined fit.
Like its predecessor, the new Triple X keeps the hard-working dual Boa closure system – but it’s improved with a medial to lateral foot wrap construction, neoprene flex zones around the tongue and a superior Form TX lace-routing pattern that reduces pressure on the top of the foot.
The shoe also features 360° of perforation and better ventilation in the toe box, along with an external heel cup that delivers more stability and a better lock when riders are punching the pedals on a sprint or climb.
