Trek Procaliber 9.5

overall Impression

The Trek Procaliber 9.5 is a fantastic race-ready hardtail. It won't break the bank with its price tag, which makes it ideal for entry-level riders. Trek used some lower performance components on the bike, to keep cost to customer low. But don't let that fool you. The Procaliber's carbon fiber frame more than makes up for that, with its IsoSpeed decoupler, and superbly fast handling.

What we like

  • Ultra stiff carbon fiber frame w/ Knock Block headset
  • IsoSpeed decoupler for canceled vibration on the rear triangle
  • Shimano Deore 1x12
  • Race ready geometry
  • Serious value - best performance in its class
  • Rockshox Judy SL

What we'd upgrade

  • Might require some upgrading of components to make it lighter
